Racking

 

Sunday we racked last weeks brews.

 

Half way through the 2 week fermentation process is a step called Racking. Basically its the process of moving the beer from the original container into another leaving all the sediment behind. There’s allot of sediment. It’s mostly hops, but the Wazberry Wheat had both sediment and allot of flotsam that made the siphon difficult.
